Eat Well. Feel Well.Fueling your body for your life.

Eat well, feel well.

What comes to mind when you think about “nutrition”?

Confusion? Frustration? Dieting? Endless amounts of boneless, skinless chicken breasts and broccoli? Or tofu steaks and wheatgrass shots?

There is so much information out there about this amorphous thing called “nutrition.” Everyone ranging from social media influencers to Dr. Oz to actual experts are telling us that they have the secret sauce for the best nutrition practices.

Keto, intermittent fasting, paleo, raw vegan, or the turtle diet (okay that last one was made up) and the list goes on and on and on and on…

At the end of the day, nutrition is about fueling your body. Literally. Not to get all geeky here, but nutrition is simply the process of taking in and utilizing food substances which provides energy and helps our tissues and whatnot regenerate.

You’ve probably heard this before: Food is fuel.

And this fuel is made up of three macronutrients: protein, carbohydrates, and fat.

Despite the last few decades of vilifying first fat then carbs, a balance of ALL the macronutrients are necessary to functionally fuel our bodies.

That said, we also know that some foods fuel our bodies better than others. In other words, we want to aim for healthful nutrition. Nutrition that makes us feel good physically and mentally.

Your body might feel great eating nothing but wheatgrass (probably not, but go with it for a sec) but are you living your best life if you’re constantly hangry?

Or maybe you saw some serious fat loss by shunning all carbs (literally impossible, btw) but your performance in the gym or on the field is suffering.

Healthful nutrition is about balance, consistency, and sustainability.

So for National Nutrition Month, we will be inviting all our members to learn more about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating habits. Want a deeper dive or more support? Good news! The next round of our 12-Week Nutrition Program starts on March 13th. Join now before it’s full
